NICK TAYLOR

Nick Taylor has been working in various London studios for 12 years, residing at Air-Edel as in-house engineer since 2004. Arriving in London from Bristol in 1998, he worked part time as a composer for TV adverts and shorts and during this time he was offered work assisting at a small studio in London Bridge. He then went on to work at Wessex studios in Highbury, and from there as a freelancer at the Strongroom and the Roundhouse. His client list is varied, reflecting work within film scores, rock and pop.

Recent film releases Nick has worked on include My Week with Marilyn (score mixer and additional score record), Grabbers (score record), The Moth Diaries (record and mix), A Lonely Place to Die (score mixer) Another Year (record and mix) The First Grader (score mixer) La Ligne Droite (score record and mix).

He's also recently been working on various projects with artists including Leona Lewis, Emile Sande and Biffy Clyro.

As well as Air Edel, Nick works in all the main London recording studios including Air, Abbey Road and British Grove.
