My Week With Marilyn, produced by the Weintsein Company and BBC Films, is now on general release in the UK. Directed by Simon Curtis and produced by David Parfitt and Harvey Weinstein, it stars Michelle Williams as Marilyn Monore, Kenneth Brannagh as Lawrence Olivier, with Eddie Redmayne, Judy Dench and Emma Watson.
The score, composed by Conrad Pope, with Marilyn's Theme written by Alexandre Desplat, was recorded by Pete Cobbin at both Abbey Road and Air Studios, and mixed by our own engineer Nick Taylor here in Air-Edel Studio 1.
Furthermore, all the original source music for the film was recorded and mixed at Air-Edel, with two memorable big band numbers opening and closing the film which were recorded and mixed here by Nick Taylor.
