Air Edel Studios were founded by Sir George Martin and Herman Edel 20 years ago. The studios are part of a wider music supervision, management and publishing company. Air Edel boasts one of the largest live rooms in central London, and has a beautiful and renowned Steinway B piano in studio 1. All areas of the music industry have used the Studios, and as a result our engineers are well seasoned and able to adapt with ease during any session.
In September/October 2008, the studios went through a complete refurbishment. When the designs were being drawn up, comments from both clients and engineers alike were taken into consideration. Munro Acoustics and Paul Kirkin completely transformed the studios with regards to comfort, functionality and design.
The feedback has been incredibly positive, with the control rooms in both Studios 1 and 2 being at the forefront of the comments.
The studios have now encountered a small problem, - it is almost impossible now, to get clients to leave at the end of the day. We may have made the studios a little bit too comfy!
